Spiralfrog recently launched their Canada-only beta site. Spiralfrog is an ad-supported legal download service that contains audio content licensed from the catalogs of the world’s major and independent record labels. You can access the service from the US, but Download Squad has a review and some screenshots of the service.

Maybe I'm just a little old fashion but I don't get what all the fuss is about drm. The music is free, all they're asking for is a for you to log onto the site now and then, something I would probably do to get more music anyway. I haven't gone a week without logging into Itunes for years. I don't know why everyone is complaining so much I'm looking forward to spiral frog.
